  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 pound 450g sausage meat (you can use pork or a sausage of your choice with the casings removed)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Boil the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 9-10 minutes. Remove the eggs and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel the eggs and set them aside.
  • Prepare the Sausage Mixture: In a bowl, combine the sausage meat with salt and pepper. You can add some herbs or spices for extra flavor, such as chopped parsley, thyme, or a pinch of nutmeg.
  • Assemble the Scotch Eggs: Take a portion of the sausage mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place one of the peeled hard-boiled eggs in the center and wrap the sausage meat around it, ensuring that it covers the egg evenly. Repeat this process for the remaining eggs.
