Ingredients
  

BRINED CHICKEN

  • 4 8- oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Sea salt or kosher salt

PREPARATION

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brine the chicken in 4 cups of water with sea salt for 10 minutes at room temperature or up to 24 hours in the fridge.
  • Drain, rinse, and pat dry the chicken breasts.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Place chicken in a baking dish, brush with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle both sides with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, sea salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until internal temp reaches 160-165°F (71-74°C).
  • Cover with foil and rest for 5 minutes before serving or slicing.
